evidence of learning #1: e-POrtfolio
Learning Outcome Addressed:
Develop skills to optimize learning experiences through personalization; and engage in service learning.
My ePortfolio is a demonstration of all a culminating presentation of my learning for the entire program, Online Learning and Teaching. Completing this task allowed be to show some of my best representations of learning throughout the OLTD program. The process brought to mind all the strengths and challenges of online learning based on current research and best practices of emerging technologies and practices. As an educator it is beneficial to constantly reflect on our work and demonstrate to others the need for reflective practice. Overall, the process of learning new ideas, and moving towards a Masters degree has had a transformative impact on my teaching life. The process has built upon my previous knowledge and training, but it also awakened my reflective and metacognitive thinking processes; encouraging me to follow critical, inspirational and innovative approaches to teaching and learning, and to take risks. I've found that this process has given me a better understanding of pedagogy, spurring me to continually improve my own teaching techniques and empowering me to try out new strategies, with the skills and knowledge of how to better evaluate my own performance in the classroom.

evidence of learning #2: A Literature review
Learning Outcomes Addressed:
This piece of evidence is my Masters Literature Review. My area of research addressed blended learning environments, specifically looking at research perspectives and analysis of blended learning environments for the high school classroom.
In in completing this task I was able to fully explore a variety of research perspectives on blended learning environments, which is a key step in moving toward completion of my Masters project. An in-depth investigation of this subject, not only instills greater subject knowledge, but wider professional knowledge, and as I move toward the final step in this process, it is important to have a deep understanding of a variety of research perspectives in this field in order to identify and compare similar work done in this field, to identify the knowledge gaps that require further investigation, and to recognize the potential areas for further research.
