Instead of writing a lengthy post this week, I decided to create a short video presentation of some of my learning for OLTD 505. The Powtoon video I created is more of an overview than an exhaustive summary of everything I read, heard, and watched throughout this course. I was thinking that this project would take me no time at all, but in actual fact, I spent the entire day (and then some) working on it—playing, fine tuning, re-tuning—in point of fact, I probably would have completed my written blog in a shorter time period. Well, I did have fun trying out a new tool (thank you Kim for sharing this tool). By the way, I did not add sound to the video.

This is really cute AND informative, Michelle. PowToon looks like a fun presentation tool to use. I can see how it would have taken you the entire day. Your presentation is huge! By organizing your information so well, you really have a head start on the final presentation. Excellent idea! I love your comment about 21st Century criminals are all around us. I know so few people (I really don't know any) that don't use material on the internet without permission. It really is a widespread misconception that everything out there is free game.

What a great way to do your post this week. I had never heard of PowToon before but now I am interested in going to explore it some more and see if it is something that I can use with my students in the future. I used Prezi for the first time for my final project and I used Audacity to do a voice over for it but I don't think mine is very eye catching after watching yours!

HI Michelle, As I said to you on Twitter, "This could be presented for your final project. Good job!" After viewing your presentation I went and created an account, and then spent some time playing. It is not as easy to create in as some online presentation tools such as Prezi, but it offers more than Prezi as you can do animations. Thanks for adding to my understanding of another great online presentation tool. Perhaps I will challenge myself in a future OLTD course and create with Powtoon. Well done!
